On the afternoon of February 11, the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea in coordination with the Vietnamese Student Association in Korea (VSAK) organized an exchange program with Mr. Park Hang Seo at Obama Hall, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, Korea.

At the event, the "captain" of the Vietnam U23 team shared: "This is my personal opinion, I often talk to the young players in the team about the enthusiasm of youth, as well as the spirit of daring to face, daring to move forward to realize their dreams. I have said this many times to them.

For Vietnamese students studying in Korea, I also want to emphasize this. That is to always maintain enthusiasm, as well as dare to face challenges. That way you will realize your dreams."

Admitting that she was lucky and destined to meet Mr. Park, Phan Thi Tham, a student of the Faculty of Literature and Art Composition at Seoultech University, said that during the U23 Asia tournament, she happened to be in Vietnam on a 10-day volunteer trip with a group of Korean students from Seoultech University.

"During that time, the Korean volunteers and I were able to immerse ourselves in the passion of the tournament, witness the passion, love for football and dedication of the players, and especially the affection and love of the fans and all Vietnamese people for the Vietnamese team and coach Park Hang Seo.

When we finished the volunteer program and returned to Korea, my fellow Korean students and I were still really impressed and could not forget those beautiful images.

Knowing that I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Park in person, I was very happy and excited. I would like to thank the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea for organizing a meeting with the coach for Vietnamese students and overseas Vietnamese across Korea," she shared.

Equally excited, Park Si Eun - a student of Environmental Management at Seoultech, admitted that she had not been interested in football before, but her 10-day volunteer trip to Vietnam from January 20 to January 31 impressed her with the love and enthusiasm for football of the Vietnamese people.

"I feel honored to be in the same atmosphere with my Vietnamese friends and the coach. This is truly a program that leaves many impressions and emotions in me," Park Si Eun said.

At the ceremony, Mr. Park also represented and presented Tet gifts to Vietnamese students.

Vu Duc Luong, vice president of VSAK, said that this year, about 2,550 students registered to receive Tet gifts, belonging to 56 branches across Korea. The largest number is in the northern region with 27 branches and 1,080 students.

"Although the gifts are small, we hope they will be a great source of spiritual motivation to help students ease their homesickness and try harder in their studies," said Vu Duc Luong.
