The cause of the two gangs' fight
The cause stemmed from suspicions of cheating in the fish shooting game, so dozens of gangsters from Ho Chi Minh City went to Bien Hoa City to hunt down their opponents.
On February 19, regarding the fight that occurred at the fish shooting game shop on the ground floor of the old Vinatex supermarket (in Ward 1, Quang Vinh Ward, Bien Hoa City on the night of the 30th of Tet, which injured 3 people, the Investigation Police Agency of Bien Hoa City Police issued a decision to temporarily detain 17 subjects to continue investigating and handling the act of intentionally causing injury and disturbing public order.

The police agency identified the masterminds in the stabbing as: Le Hoang Khac Vu (34 years old, residing in Ninh Thuan), Bach Thuy Ha (43 years old, American nationality, temporarily residing in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) and Luu Quoc Huy as the mastermind. According to information from the police agency, at about 7:00 p.m. on February 15 (ie 30th of Tet), at 101 Company Limited (fish shooting game) on the ground floor of the old Vinatex supermarket, owned by Ms. Bach Thuy Ha and directed by Le Hoang Khac Vu, an incident of intentional injury and public disorder occurred.
Through investigation, the initial investigation agency of Bien Hoa City Police determined that at about 7 p.m. on February 15 (ie 30th of Tet), because of suspicion that some young people playing fish shooting game were cheating in calculating fish shooting scores, Le Hoang Khac Vu called Bach Thuy Ha to inform. After that, Ha, her husband Luu Quoc Huy (American nationality) and about 30 other people from Ho Chi Minh City went to Bien Hoa City to resolve the case.
When arriving at the fish shooting game shop, Ha's group suspected that Vo Dinh Khoi's group (alias "Khoi Gia", 37 years old, residing in Quang Vinh ward, Bien Hoa city) was stealing fish shooting points, so they chased and killed Khoi and 3 other people, including: Vo Dinh Khang (17 years old, Khoi's son); Ngo Cong Danh (21 years old) and Dao Quang Nghia (21 years old).
Ha's group used stainless steel chairs, iron pipes, fluorescent bulbs, and fire extinguishers to beat Khoi's group, causing injuries, and then ran out of the store. After Khoi's group ran away for about 2 minutes, Ha's group of about 17 people holding the above weapons ran out into the street to chase and beat Khoi's group. Because Khoi's group had escaped earlier, Ha's group could not catch up and returned to the supermarket area.
Being beaten, old Khoi immediately called hundreds of gangsters in Bien Hoa to come to the supermarket area to take revenge. The fight left Vo Dinh Khoi, Vo Dinh Khang (Khoi's son) and Ngo Cong Danh injured in the head and arms.

In addition, Mohd Helmy Bin Mohd Akhir (Malaysian nationality) was a fellow traveler in Ha's group and was injured by "Old Khoi's" group. After the incident, Bien Hoa City Police coordinated with Dong Nai Province Police's professional departments to investigate and arrest the suspects. That same night, 38 suspects were arrested by the authorities.
After screening the subjects, the Investigation Police Agency of Bien Hoa City Police initially decided to temporarily detain 17 subjects to investigate the acts of intentionally causing injury and disturbing public order.
Regarding the subjects: Le Hoang Khac Vu, Bach Thuy Ha and Luu Quoc Huy as the masterminds, the Investigation Police Agency of Bien Hoa City Police is continuing to investigate and handle.
