Iran finds wreckage of crashed plane carrying 65 people
Iranian rescue teams have found the site of a passenger plane crash on Mount Dena after a day of searching in bad weather conditions.

Iranian search and rescue forces today reached the scene of a plane crash carrying 65 people a day earlier, the channel reported.Press TVreport
An Aseman Airlines ATR-72 crashed in foggy weather yesterday into the Dena Mountains in southern Iran. Iranian authorities said all crew and passengers on board were killed.
Rescue teams reached the crash site at dawn, as the weather on Mount Dena improved, though still windy. Iranian television footage showed a helicopter joining the search, while ambulances were preparing to arrive at the scene.
The crash site is believed to be at an altitude of 3,500 metres. Other Iranian news agencies said five helicopters and five drones were involved in the search, which was hampered by bad weather.

The ATR-72 crashed as it was about to land in the city of Yasuj. The cause of the crash is still unclear, although the weather was very bad at the time. Strong winds, heavy snowfall and fog prevented search and rescue teams from reaching the site immediately after the crash.
The crashed plane was returned to service a few months ago, after seven years on the ground.Iran's president has ordered an investigation into the crash.
