The Politburo announced the decision on personnel work.

This morning, the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a ceremony to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work. Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission Ha Ban announced the Politburo's decision 675 appointing Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2014-2019 term.

Considering the proposal of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Organizing Committee, the Politburo decided to appoint Mr. Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 8th tenure, to join the Party Delegation and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2014-2019 term.

On behalf of the Politburo, Head of the Central Organization Committee Pham Minh Chinh presented the decision to Mr. Hau A Lenh. According to the Head of the Central Organization Committee, Mr. Hau A Lenh is an ethnic cadre, who received basic training and grew up from the grassroots level, and has experienced many different positions and working environments from local to central levels.

Mr. Pham Minh Chinh said that Mr. Hau A Lenh is an officer of General Department 2, Secretary of Sa Pa District Youth Union, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Sa Pa District People's Committee, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Sa Pa District Party Committee, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, then Deputy Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Northwest Steering Committee, Vice Chairman - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Mr. Hau A Lenh is an alternate member of the 10th and 11th Party Central Committee; member of the 12th Party Central Committee.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee commented that throughout his work, Mr. Hau A Lenh has always shown himself to be a man of courage, determination, and will to strive forward. He is a cadre with pure, humble, and simple qualities, and is loved and respected by his colleagues.

"In his new position as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, I believe that with the dedicated support of the collective and leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front through the periods, Mr. Hau A Lenh will continue to inherit the achievements and experiences of his predecessors and with his capacity, intelligence, qualities and mettle, together with the collective of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, will effectively lead and direct the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the coming time," the Head of the Central Organizing Committee expected.

Receiving the assignment, Mr. Hau A Lenh shared that this is a great honor, demonstrating the trust of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the Central Organizing Committee in assigning the assignment.

Mr. Hau A Lenh expressed his gratitude for the attention and trust of the leaders of the Party, State, Standing Committee, Presidium and Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the past time.

"I promise that together with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Presidium, I will strictly comply with the regulations and fulfill the tasks of 2018. I really hope to continue to receive the attention, encouragement, timely support and assistance of the leaders of the Party, State, leaders of the Central Organizing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front so that I can successfully complete my tasks," said Mr. Hau A Lenh.

Previously, the 8th conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front had elected Mr. Hau A Lenh to hold the position of Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 8th term, 2014-2019.

Mr. Hau A Lenh was born on June 22, 1973; hometown is Ta Van commune, Sa Pa district, Lao Cai province; is of Mong ethnic group.
