CHRIS Khoa Nguyen was born in 1994 in Prague (Czech Republic), majoring in Economics & International Relations at the University of Exeter, UK. He is fluent in 7 languages and has interned at 8 prestigious banks abroad.

"After turning down offers from several companies, in June 2017 I decided to join BlackRock to work on financial crime prevention. In August of that same year I graduated from university and once again had to make a decision about my future path. Thanks to the relationships with government agencies - legislative bodies that I had during my time at BlackRock, I was accepted to work at the UK Ministry of Finance" - Chris Khoa said.
Describing his work at the UK Treasury in more detail, Chris Khoa said: "Chris believes that the UK Treasury will be an exciting opportunity where he can learn a lot. Here, Chris will work with MPs and ministers, research and share with them his opinions on policy issues.

Chris’s work focuses on fair market competition. In addition, he will also study law at Cambridge University, as well as remaining active in many other activities.
Upcoming plans include a few projects in collaboration with UNICEF as well as participating as an ambassador for a young entrepreneur program in Vietnam. Chris will try to work and gain experience for a few more years, before studying further in the UK or the US."

At 24, Chris will be one of the youngest Treasury advisors and that will require Chris to work hard to prove his worth, and through that he will also learn a lot. It will be a long process.
Chris said he applied for the job in September 2017. He had to write a lot of essays about how to advise MPs on relevant issues, followed by many rounds of interviews and presentations to assessment panels.

Previously, Chris had turned down the opportunity to work at Google, he said: "Working at Google would have been great. But Chris thought again and found that he was more interested in social-related industries, and with his academic background in economics, Google was probably not the right choice for Chris at this time."
In addition to Google, this year, Chris was also very lucky to receive a number of contracts mainly from banks, as well as other organizations such as Reuters and Airbus. Google is a very professional company, they sent Chris a fairly detailed and complete contract for him to refer to and give an answer.
