Coach Miura speaks out about the liquidation of former MU player
Coach Toshiya Miura of Ho Chi Minh City Club affirmed: “Regarding the termination of the contract with Possebon, everyone should ask the leaders because that is their opinion. Maybe, the team's leadership wants to find a foreign player with higher quality, contributing more to the club. Possebon has a lot of playing experience. But perhaps, he has not had time to adapt to football in the Asian region.”

He also denied that Possebon could not meet the Japanese coach's rigorous training requirements. Coach Miura said that Possebon left so that the HCMC club's management could bring in a better quality foreign player.
“Possebon can still train, not because of injury. He left because of the decision of the club's leadership, not because he had difficulty adapting to the playing style I proposed,” the Japanese coach explained.
