7m asteroid is about to hit Earth
Scientists estimate that asteroid 2018 DV1 will fly about 113,000 km away from Earth.

The 7-meter-wide asteroid named 2018 DV1 will pass about 113,000 km from Earth on March 2,SpaceAstronomers first discovered the asteroid on February 26 using a telescope at the Mount Lemmon Observatory in Arizona, USA.
2018 DV1 flew past Earth after 2018 DU, another asteroid, also flew close to Earth in late February. During the flight, asteroid 2018 DU came within about 315,000 km of Earth.
Scientists from the Virtual Telescope Project have discovered another asteroid, named 2017 VR12, that will pass by Earth on March 7. The closest distance when this asteroid passes Earth will be 1.4 million km. Asteroid 2017 VR12 is 150 - 470 m wide and is classified by NASA as a potentially hazardous asteroid.
