5 days to prosecute 3 gambling cases
(Baonghean.vn) - The Investigation Police Agency of Yen Thanh District Police has just issued a decision to prosecute 3 cases and 13 gambling subjects.
On February 23, the Yen Thanh District Police Patrol Team caught 2 groups and 8 people gambling.
At about 11:30 p.m. at Mr. Nguyen Huu Uoc's house in Van Trai hamlet, Long Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, four subjects including: Thai Van Son (born 1967), Thai Van Tinh (born 1977), Thai Van Vinh (born 1969) in Long Thanh commune and Phan Van Son (born 1984) in Vinh Thanh commune were gambling using the "three-card" format. The seized evidence was 55,450,000 VND and 2 decks of cards.

At 3:00 p.m. at Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phung's house in Khanh Thanh commune, the district police arrested a group of gamblers using dice shaking, including Nguyen Xuan Phung (born 1985), Nguyen Xuan Dung (born 1996), Nguyen Dinh Thang (born 1982), and Nguyen Xuan Hoang (born 1975), all residing in Khanh Thanh commune.
Seized 7,700,000 VND and 3 phones.
At 11:00 a.m. on February 26, in Hamlet 3, Son Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District Police discovered and caught 5 subjects gambling in the form of Lieng. The five subjects were Tran Van Hien, Tran Van Thai, Cao Viet Thao, Cao Viet Bo in Son Thanh Commune and Nguyen The Cuong in Nghi Van Nghi Loc Commune. They seized 14,480,000 VND.
At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed to their gambling behavior.
On March 1, Yen Thanh District Police announced that they had decided to prosecute the three gambling cases mentioned above and temporarily detained the subjects for investigation and handling.
