The highest version of CR-V is only 1,068 million, while Civic has a new version, Jazz also appears to find female customers.

The Japanese automaker announced new prices for four models imported from Thailand, significantly lower than before because of the 0% import tax. In addition to the discounted CR-V, it is worth noting that the Civic has two new versions and the Jazz model introduced last year has also returned to the country.

Honda CR-V is down 178-188 million compared to the first batch of 2018, which still applied a 30% import tax because of customs clearance in 2017. The reduction of nearly 200 million compared to two months earlier creates motivation for customers. When it was first launched, Honda expected the L version to cost nearly 1.1 billion, then because the car could not arrive in early 2018 due to Decree 116, the company had to clear customs in 2017, selling at 1.256 billion. Up to now, after the paperwork has been resolved, the company has set a new price of 1.068 million, lower than the initially estimated 1.1 billion.

The current versions of Civic and Accord both keep the same price of 898 and 1,198 million because according to the company, this price has been reduced since the end of 2017.In addition to the versions currently on sale, Honda Vietnam also introduced the new Jazz model and the prices of the new Civic versions. After the only Civic version with a price of 900 million did not create a breakthrough in sales, the Japanese car company added two more versions, a G version still using a 1.5 turbo engine but equipped with lower equipment than the L version, and an E version with an old 1.8 engine, similar to the previous generation. With a price of 758 million, the E version is expected to boost sales in the new year.

Jazz, a hatchback model in the same B segment as City, is targeted at female customers by Honda with 3 versions, priced at 539-619 million. Meanwhile, City has only two versions, priced at 568-604 million. The price range of City and Jazz is not too different, when Jazz appears, City will reduce sales pressure when targeting men, the female customer segment is taken care of by Jazz.

The Japanese car company has announced the selling price but the delivery date has not been confirmed yet. The new batch of Accord, Jazz, Civic, CR-V cars arrived in Vietnam in early March but the delivery date may be late April or early May due to the waiting time for inspection and customs clearance at the port.

Honda CR-V is about to have a new shipment.

Previously, according to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Ministry of Transport (MOT) has accepted the type approval certificate issued by the Thai government for vehicles exported from this country to Vietnam. This is a document that seems "impossible" for importers and is considered a closed door for cars manufactured in other countries.

After Honda, other importers may also bring cars to Vietnam after having a solution for the car type quality certificate. Compared to its compatriot, Toyota is slower because it has to re-order the factory from the beginning. The previously ordered shipments that could not be brought to the country have been modified to be exported to other markets.

In addition, because Toyota's cars are imported from Indonesia, the government of this country has not yet agreed to provide type approval certificates for exported cars, which means the cars cannot enter Vietnam. However, the difficulty is expected to be resolved soon.

Imported cars from Europe remain at normal levels. German car manufacturers provide full documentation as required by Decree 116.
