Beating a coffee customer to death for shining a light in his face

(Baonghean.vn) - While sitting drinking coffee, Minh (born in 1997, residing in Nghia Dan, Nghe An) met a customer who came to the shop and turned the light on him, so he got angry and took an iron pipe and beat the victim to death.

On the morning of March 5, Nghia Dan District Police said they were arresting suspect Ngo Van Minh (born in 1997, residing in Tan Xuan hamlet, Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district) to clarify the act of murder.

The victim was Pham Van Tien (born in 1991, residing in Ap Bong hamlet, Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan).

According to initial information, at around 9:30 p.m. on March 3, Minh and his friend, after drinking at home, went to a coffee shop in Ap Bong hamlet.

After sitting for a while, Minh saw Tien riding a motorbike into the shop and shining his headlights in his face, so the two got into an argument. Angry, Minh told his friend to take him home to get a 21mm iron pipe, then went to the shop and called Tien out to hit him hard in the chest.

Due to the force of the blow, Tien collapsed and died shortly thereafter.

Committing the crime, Minh fled the scene and was arrested by the police that same night.

It is known that the victim Tien is a young unmarried man who has just returned home from working far away for Tet.

The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
