1,500 medical staff in Nghe An donate blood to patients

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 6, in Vinh City, Nghe An Department of Health launched the 3rd "Pink Drops White Blouse" Festival in 2018. Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee, leaders of the Department of Health and representatives of 32 hospitals and medical facilities in the province.

This time, 1,500 doctors and medical staff from 34 hospitals and medical facilities in Vinh city and neighboring districts registered to donate blood. In the morning, nearly 1,000 people from 32 hospitals and medical facilities came to register, get checked and donate blood.

Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee and the Department of Health acknowledged the voluntary spirit of the doctors and medical staff of the province; at the same time, he said that with their work, the team of doctors and medical staff not only devotes their intelligence, enthusiasm and effort to save patients, but also dedicates their precious blood to the community and patients.
