Nghe An: Trial of a man who stole 5 times
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 6, the People's Court of Nghia Dan district (Nghe An) held a public trial of the case of Truong Van Manh, residing in Dong Son hamlet, Dong Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town, for the crime of property theft.
According to the indictment, from July to November 2017, Truong Van Manh committed five thefts in Nghia Dan district and neighboring areas. The total value of the property Manh stole from the victims was 14,550,000 VND.

At the trial, considering that the defendant Truong Van Manh had honestly bowed his head and admitted his guilt, the stolen property had been recovered and returned to the victim, the Trial Panel decided to sentence Truong Van Manh to 18 months in prison.
