Angry because his team's goal was not recognized, PAOK Club President Ivan Savvidis took a gun onto the field to "talk" to the referee.

The incident took place during the match between PAOK and AEK Athens in the Greek Super League last night. In the extra minutes, player Fernando Valera scored for PAOK but the referee did not recognize the goal because he thought the player was in an offside position.

PAOK Club President and bodyguards went onto the field to protest against the referee.

PAOK players argued fiercely after the referee's decision. Things got even worse when PAOK President Ivan Savvidis and his bodyguards went onto the pitch to "talk" to the referee.

Notably, Ivan Savvidis was seen with a pistol on his waist. He even got into a fight with AEK Athens representative Vasilis Dimitriadis. The chaotic scene forced the referee and players to quickly leave the field.

After two hours of controversy, the match continued for the remaining minutes and no more goals were scored. At present, the result of this match is still unknown. Some sources say that under pressure from Mr. Ivan Savvidis, the referee decided to award the goal to PAOK. However, the Greek Football Federation has not yet announced the result.

He had a gun on his hip, which terrified many people.

AEK Athens coach Manolo Jimenez confirmed that he saw the PAOK president carrying a gun and threatening the referee: “We saw Ivan Savvidis with a gun behind his back. What's more, he threatened the referee right in front of me. I was really shocked, I didn't understand what was happening. Things like that only appear in Clint Eastwood movies.”

It is known that AEK Athens Club has decided to file a complaint with UEFA and FIFA.

PAOK FC was recently deducted points after an incident in a match against Olympiacos in February. Olympiacos coach Oscar Garcia was hit in the face by a foreign object thrown by a fan in the stands. The match was postponed immediately afterwards.
