Vinh Medical University opens postgraduate training course
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 17, Vinh Medical University held the Opening Ceremony of Specialization I, Course I (2018-2020). Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The Specialized Training Class I, concentrated system of Internal Medicine (course 2018-2020) of Vinh Medical University has 24 students.
This is the first postgraduate training course of the school, marking a new stage in the development and gradually affirming the brand of Vinh Medical University.
The opening of the postgraduate training course aims to perfect the university's training model and meet the demand for highly qualified medical human resources in the province, the North Central region as well as the whole country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son acknowledged, highly appreciated and congratulated the results and achievements in teaching and learning of Vinh Medical University in recent times.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, Vinh Medical University needs to develop more strongly, be assigned with higher training tasks, and become a reliable address and strong brand in training human resources for the health sector. To do that, the school needs to focus on developing facilities, expanding the scale and quality of training.
At the same time, it is necessary to constantly improve the curriculum and lesson plans to meet the requirements of teaching tasks in the new situation. Strengthen scientific research; receive and transfer science and technology to combine learning with practice.
Complete the process of turning the clinic into Vinh Medical Hospital, together with the provincial health sector to better serve the medical examination and treatment of the people.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son also emphasized: This is the first postgraduate course of Vinh Medical University, so the students study well, build the brand for the school, contribute to the work of taking care of people's health, and together with the Party Committee and people of the province, successfully implement Resolution 26 of the Politburo to build Nghe An into a medical center of the North Central region.
