Porsche 911 Turbo S gold plated and carbon fiber from Russia
Developed from the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, the Stinger GTR Carbon Edition by the Russian tuner impresses with its use of premium materials such as gold and carbon fiber.
As a fairly popular and easily "duplicated" car line, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet has just been comprehensively upgraded by Russian tuning company TopCar with the name Stinger GTR Carbon Edition. |
As the name suggests, the Stinger GTR Carbon Edition is completely different from the original with carbon fiber as the main material. The tail wing, diffuser and air vents all show the characteristic carbon fiber pattern, making the car cooler and sportier. |
In addition, the widebody shell with a total of 17 different items, accounts for 90% of the original body area. The car also owns a large 5-spoke ADV.1 sports rim set similar to professional racing cars. |
Carbon fiber continues to be found inside the car with decorative panels. The entire seat is also covered in premium leather with sophisticated stitching. |
However, the most special feature of the car is a series of interior details plated with real gold - from the gear lever, gear shift paddles, door handles, electric window adjustment buttons, air-conditioning vents to even the brake and accelerator pedals. |
TopCar not only upgraded the appearance, but also handled the performance. The 911 Turbo S's 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine was tweaked with an ECU and a number of other changes. Thanks to that, the Stinger GTR Carbon Edition has a capacity of up to 750 horsepower (an increase of 170 horsepower compared to the original). |
It took TopCar 9 months to develop this package, so its price is up to 92,000 USD and the installation cost is about 12,000 USD. |
