Pregnant mother and 3-year-old son tragically died under the wheels of a truck
(Baonghean.vn) - While being transported by motorbike to Vinh City, Vinh and her child had an accident and were caught under a truck. At the time of the accident, Vinh was 4 months pregnant.
At around 1:00 p.m. on March 19, Mr. Hoang Van Chien (born in 1990, residing in Hau Thanh hamlet, Tay Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) drove a motorbike carrying Ms. Hoang Thi Vinh (born in 1986) and her son, Nguyen Hoang Anh Dung (born in 2015) from Yen Thanh to Vinh city.

When the motorbike was traveling in the direction of N5 road turning onto National Highway 1A, it collided with a truck with license plate 37C - 19.440 traveling in the opposite direction.
The strong collision threw Ms. Vinh and her child off the motorbike and into the truck, killing them on the spot. Mr. Chien was seriously injured. At the time of the accident, Ms. Vinh was 4 months pregnant.
Upon receiving the news, Nghi Loc District Police were present to protect the scene, take the victims to the emergency room, and direct traffic.
At 5 p.m. the same day, the family took the bodies of Vinh and her children back to their hometown to prepare for the funeral. Chien is still being treated at the hospital.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by Nghi Loc District Police.
