1. Announcement of the decision to appoint 2 Deputy Ministers

March 21, in Hanoi, tUnder the authorization of the Prime Minister, Minister Nguyen Chi Dung presented Decision No. 288/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister appointing Mr. Vu Dai Thang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.
At the same time, the Minister presented Decision 289/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister appointing Mr. Le Quang Manh, Director of the Department of Local and Territorial Economy, Ministry of Planning and Investment to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.

On March 19, the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) handed over decisions on staff transfer and appointment to units.
Accordingly, at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong presented the following decisions:
Decision No. 347/QD-BTTTT dated March 13, 2018 of the Minister of Information and Communications on appointing Mr. Tran Minh, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Institute of Software and Digital Content Industry to hold the position of Director of the Vietnam Institute of Software and Digital Content Industry, Ministry of Information and Communications.
Decision No. 339/QD-BTTTT dated March 12, 2018 of the Minister of Information and Communications on the temporary transfer and appointment of Mr. Bui Hoang Phuong, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Information and Communications - Secretary of the Minister to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Information and Communications.
Decision No. 338/QD-BTTTT dated March 12, 2018 of the Minister of Information and Communications on the temporary transfer and appointment of Mr. Tran Hong Son, Deputy Director of the Information Center, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Vietnam Institute of Software Industry and Digital Content, Ministry of Information and Communications.

On the afternoon of March 23, Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long handed over decisions appointing leaders at the Department level.
Accordingly, comrade Tran Duc Vinh, Head of the Economic Law Department, Vietnam Law Newspaper, was appointed to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper from March 22, 2018;
Comrade Tran Quang Huy, Vice Rector of Hanoi Law University, was assigned to be in charge of Hanoi Law University from March 26, 2018.

Accordingly, comrade Nguyen Duy Bac, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, was assigned by the Secretariat to become Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

On March 24, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Long presented the decision approving the election results for the additional position of Chairman of Co To District People's Committee, term V, 2016 - 2021, for Mr. Tran Nhu Long, Secretary of Co To District Party Committee.
Previously, at the 6th session (extraordinary session), the People's Council of Co To district, term V, 2016 - 2021, carried out the process of electing Mr. Tran Nhu Long, Secretary of the Co To District Party Committee, to the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Co To district. As a result, 100% of the delegates of the district People's Council elected Mr. Tran Nhu Long to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Co To district, term V, 2016 - 2021.

Previously, at the 6th session (extraordinary session) held on February 5, the People's Council of Binh Dinh province passed a Resolution on confirming the results of the election of additional Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term; confirming the results of the election of additional Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term for Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, member of the Standing Committee of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term; deputy of the 14th National Assembly.

On March 19, Mr. Huynh Cach Mang, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, presented the decision of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh as Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice. Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh holds the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice from March 16. The term of office is five years.
Previously, on the afternoon of March 16, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, presented the decision to transfer and appoint Ms. Tran Kim Yen, City Party Committee member, Party Secretary, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the District Party Committee of District 1 for the 2015-2020 term, from March 16.
On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan also handed over the decision to transfer and assign Mr. Huynh Thanh Hai, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of District 1 Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Research and Compilation of the History of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee 1975-2015, Chronicle of Events from March 16.
