Carina apartment fire: One victim suddenly became seriously ill
Regarding the fire at Carina Plaza apartment building, information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health shows that as of the morning of March 26, 43 people are still being treated at hospitals, including 3 serious cases requiring ventilators.

Specifically, Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital currently has 11 patients being treated, of which 6 are in the Respiratory Department, 5 are in the Interdisciplinary Department. The patients' condition is gradually stabilizing.
According to Dr. Phan Van Nghiem - Deputy Director of Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital, previously, this hospital received 21 victims for emergency treatment, after which 10 cases were discharged.
Cho Ray Hospital still has 12 patients being treated, including a fire police officer.
Of these 12 patients, 3 are on ventilators; the most serious condition is patient Le Phan Trong Nhan (30 years old), who was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, in a deep coma, with cerebral edema due to suffocation. He has recovered positively, and no brain damage has been detected. Doctors hope that this patient can recover without any sequelae.
Patient Tran Yen Minh (34 years old) was conscious despite having airway edema. However, this patient suddenly became seriously ill, with respiratory failure, and doctors had to continue using a ventilator.
Meanwhile, the health condition of Fire Police officer Tran Tuan Thanh, who was burned while on duty at the scene of the apartment fire, is progressing well.
The patient was admitted to the hospital with burns covering approximately 8% of his body surface area, including his legs, left arm, and shoulder area. It is expected that Mr. Tran Tuan Thanh will be discharged in about a week.
At hospitals such as Trieu An Hospital, Children's Hospital 1, and City International Hospital, many patients have been discharged. Trieu An Hospital only has one case under treatment, Children's Hospital 1 has two children in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.
City International Hospital still has 8 patients, including two cases still being treated in the Intensive Care Department but are stable.
At District 6 Hospital, on March 25, there was one more case admitted. Thus, at District 6 Hospital, the total number of patients currently being treated is 9 patients and all are stable, including one child.
As of March 26, 48 people were in stable health and discharged from the hospital, while 43 people continued to be treated in hospitals./.
