Miss My Linh, Diem My 9x wear elaborate ao dai to events
Two beauties chose modernized traditional costumes at the closing night of the "Ao Dai Festival" 2018.
My Linh's ao dai was conceived and completed by designer Brian Vo in 15 days. The dress has a 10 meter long separate skirt printed with images of old Ho Chi Minh City.
The main body of the shirt is also printed with many motifs of Saigon's famous landscapes and landmarks such as Ben Thanh market, Notre Dame Cathedral...
The upper part of the ao dai is decorated with sequins, symbolizing the stars in the night sky.
Runner-up Thanh Tu (left) chose a plain silk ao dai with a loose fit.
Diem My wears a long dress with slit sleeves and mottled patterns with different light and dark colors by designer Adrian Anh Tuan.
The flowing silk material of the dress creates softness and flexibility for the wearer.
