Certificates in IT and English help continuing education students get 1 bonus point each when considering graduation.
The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that candidates are given priority points from 0 to 0.5 when considering high school graduation.Candidates in category 1, also known as normal category, do not receive extra points.

Students with multiple priority criteria will only benefit from the highest criteria.
Bonus points
Candidates who win individual prizes in the 12th grade cultural subject excellent student exam will receive 1-2 extra points when considering high school graduation.
Candidates who win individual and team prizes in practical experiments in Physics, Chemistry, Biology; art competitions; physical education and sports; national defense education sports competitions; science and technology competitions; international letter writing competitions organized by the education sector in coordination with specialized sectors from provincial level and above at high school level will also receive 1-2 extra points.
In which, team prizes are only counted for national prizes, the extra points are the same as individual prizes. Students who win many different prizes will only receive the extra points of the highest prize.
Certificates of excellent, fair, and average skills help candidates get 2 - 1.5 - 1 bonus points respectively.
Continuing Education StudentsThose with a Foreign Language A or Computer Science A certificate or higher (including technicians) will get 1 extra point for each type of certificate.
The maximum incentive score for each candidate is no more than 4 points.

- First, second, third prize at national level or first prize at provincial level: 2.0 points.
- National encouragement prize or provincial second prize: 1.5 points.
- Third prize at provincial level: 1.0 point.
2.Winning individual and team prizes in practical experiments in Physics, Chemistry, Biology; art competitions; physical education and sports; national defense education sports; science and technology competitions; international letter writing competitions organized by the Education sector in coordination with specialized sectors from provincial level and above at high school level:
- Winning first, second, third national prizes or first provincial prizes or Gold Medal: 2.0 points.
- National encouragement prize or provincial second prize or Silver Medal: 1.5 points.
- Third prize at provincial level or Bronze Medal: 1.0 point.

3.Certified:
- Excellent: 2.0 points.
