85 projects in Nghe An province will be audited.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 29, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the State Audit Office (SA) Region II to organize a conference to announce the Decision on auditing the local budget in 2017 in Nghe An province.
Attending and directing were comrades Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Doan Xuan Tien - Deputy General Auditor; Phan Van Thuong - Chief Auditor of the State Audit Office of Region II.
Comrade Phan Van Thuong - Chief Auditor of State Audit Office Region II announced Decision No. 54 of the State Audit Office on the 2017 local budget audit plan of Nghe An province.

Accordingly, the audit contents include: Auditing the management and use of budget revenues and expenditures, state money and assets; compliance with laws, policies, financial management regimes, accounting regimes and state investment and construction regimes.
The audit scope includes the 2017 local budget settlement report and related previous and subsequent periods of the audited units in Nghe An.
Within 60 days from the date of announcement of the decision,The delegation will conduct audits at 6 state management agencies; 9 districts and towns; 4 provincial budget units and 85 projects under project management boards in Nghe An province.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Le Xuan Dai affirmed: Nghe An province will require units in the audit list to coordinate well with the audit team; assign the Department of Finance as the focal agency to coordinate with relevant agencies to inform and promptly handle issues arising during the audit process.
At the same time, there will be a directive not to include in the inspection list units that were audited in 2017.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Doan Xuan Tien, Deputy State Auditor General, acknowledged and highly appreciated the cooperation of Nghe An province in the process of surveying, preparing and conducting the local budget audit in 2017. He stated that this is an annual audit, aiming to help manage public assets more effectively, help the province implement the annual socio-economic development plan well, find out the problems and thereby improve the policy mechanism.

He requested that the units in the list to be audited this time arrange working time, personnel, explain, provide complete and timely issues, documents as required by the audit team; especially closely coordinate in supervising the audit implementation for the audit team and auditors on the code of conduct, professional ethics, and performance of duties and responsibilities during the audit process.
