US ready to accept new Russian diplomats
The United States is open to new diplomats, there are no restrictions on the number of Russian diplomats working in the United States, a senior representative of the US administration told Sputnik.

"Our doors remain open," the representative said in response to a question about whether new Russian diplomats could come to the United States.
According to this official, Washington "does not limit the number" of Russian diplomats accepted by the US side.On Monday, the United States decided to expel 10 Russian diplomats whom it called "Russian spies" and close the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Seattle in solidarity with the British government in the "Skripal" case.
In Salisbury, England, on March 4, former intelligence colonel Sergei Skripal, who worked for the British special services, and his daughter Yulia were poisoned. The British side asserted that the Russian state was involved in the "poisoning" of Skripal with substance A234, which they consider to be equivalent to "Novichok". Russia firmly denies any involvement in the "Skripal case".
