Parents who beat kindergarten teachers, causing hospitalization in Nghe An, were prosecuted for humiliating others.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Vinh City Police Department has prosecuted Ms. Nghia for the crime of Humiliating others. This woman was released on bail to serve the investigation.
On March 30, the leader of Vinh City Police (Nghe An) announced that the unit initiated a case and prosecuted Phan Thi Nghia (35 years old, temporarily residing in Trung Do ward) for the crime of Humiliating others. Ms. Nghia was subject to preventive measures, prohibiting her from leaving her place of residence.
“The forensic examination results showed that the victim suffered 0% health damage, so the police investigation agency did not prosecute Ms. Phan Thi Nghia for the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury,” he said. However, the process of verifying and consolidating documentary evidence showed that the investigation agency had sufficient grounds to prosecute Ms. Nghia for the crime of “Humiliating others.”

Previously, on the evening of March 21, Ms. Nghia discovered that her child had bruises on his body, so the next morning she went to the Vietnam - Laos Kindergarten in Trung Do Ward (Vinh City) to "ask for the truth".
Believing that her child was beaten by a student intern, the female parent then rushed in, grabbed the hair, and beat Ms. PTH (21 years old). Ms. H. is a student at a local teacher training college, currently interning at this kindergarten.
The incident was later reported to the police. The intern was taken to a medical facility in a state of panic and abdominal pain. Examination revealed that Ms. H. was 13 weeks pregnant, with signs of placental abruption, threatening miscarriage.

The female intern said that after a few words of explanation that she did not hit the child, Ms. Nghia rushed forward, grabbed her hair, pulled her forward, kicked her in the back and stomach, and punched her in the face repeatedly, even though the victim kept saying she was pregnant. Some teachers standing nearby tried to stop her, and at the same time warned Ms. H. that she was pregnant. However, Ms. Nghia said, "You still hit me when I'm pregnant," and then attacked her until she fell face down.
“After the beating stopped, the parent asked, 'If you kneel down and apologize, I will forgive you. If not, I will beat you to death...'” Ms. H. said, adding that in that situation, she was forced to lie that she had beaten the child. “I had no other choice, so I knelt down in front of the parent and the child said, 'I'm sorry.' About a minute later, when the parent left, I stood up,” she said.
According to this intern, in addition to the physical injuries, the humiliation caused by her parents to kneel caused her mental damage, shame towards those around her and the children she cared for every day. Currently, after a week of treatment, Ms. H. has been discharged from the hospital.
