Billion-dollar shipment of Korean cosmetics suspected of being smuggled
(Baonghean.vn) - At the time of inspection, the driver could not provide invoices or documents proving the legal import origin of the shipment of electronics and cosmetics worth 950 million VND.
At 1:00 a.m. on March 30, the Mobile Market Management Team (Nghe An Market Management Department) coordinated with the Economic Security Department of Nghe An Police to inspect car with license plate 35N-8056 traveling from South to North.

The driver was Nguyen Van Huy (born in 1982, residing in Thach Kenh commune, Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh).
Authorities searched the vehicle and discovered 2,500 bottles of various foreign-made cosmetics and various used electronic goods.
At the time of inspection, the driver could not produce any invoices or documents proving the legal import origin. The value of the shipment was approximately 950 million VND.

Currently, all goods have been transferred to the police for further investigation and handling according to the law.
