The bitter end of a woman whose young lover betrayed her
Having been married twice but both times with difficulties, the woman with three children continued to seek happiness for herself with a new lover who was five years younger. However, after living together for a few months, the couple broke up when they "did big business" together by trafficking synthetic drugs from Ho Chi Minh City to the North...
Only 35 years old, a petite, attractive woman, but the love life of Nguyen Thi Hong Van (35 years old, in Bach Mai ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) is quite bumpy. Married early at the age of 20, Van moved to Hai Phong as a daughter-in-law and gave birth to 2 sons.
Thinking that life would be stable, Van's husband got involved in drugs and was arrested. Raising two small children alone, without a stable job, and with her husband in jail and no release date, Van divorced and took her two children to Hanoi, returning to her parents' house to live. Luckily, Van's parents owned a business so they could support the three of them.

Being young, Van still longed for happiness. The marriage with her second husband brought this woman a chubby, handsome baby boy. But happiness still did not smile. Van's husband had no home, was sick, and was unable to take care of the mother and son. The second marriage therefore fell apart. The burden fell on the grandparents when they had to take care of Van's third child.
Two failed love affairs did not stop the mother of three from continuing to seek her own happiness. In May 2017, Van met Nguyen Thanh Hung (30 years old, in Hong Bang, Hai Phong). Hung is a "social" person, with a previous conviction of 30 months in prison for "Receiving property obtained by others through crime".
On social networks, Hung uses the nickname "Hai Phong Dragon". This Facebook name is also the address where he conducts transactions.drug, because Hung is a fan of synthetic drugs. Ecstasy "dealers" in Hai Phong also order Hung to produce new ecstasy samples, which are popular with users. Usually, Hung uses "genuine" ecstasy, mixes it with additives to make a profit. When "dealers" need goods, they just need to send drug samples via Facebook to Hung so that he can study the design, color, logo, then stamp the goods exactly as ordered.
After meeting the "young pilot" Nguyen Thanh Hung, Van left her three children with her grandparents. She rented a house at lane 294 Bach Mai (Hanoi) and lived with Hung. Van's online sales job was just a front for her and her lover to carry out a big business - selling synthetic drugs.
In early July 2017, through social relationships, Hung connected with Hoang - a synthetic drug dealer in Ho Chi Minh City, to discuss bringing drugs to Hanoi for consumption. Hung had connections, and Van had capital, so both decided to go to Ho Chi Minh City to establish a business relationship with Hoang.
On July 20, 2017, the couple Van - Hung flew from Cat Bi airport (Hai Phong) to Ho Chi Minh City, staying at an acquaintance's house in District 4. After contacting, Hoang brought 2 samples of ecstasy pills with the logo of a crown and the letter "S" to Van to see and test before ordering in bulk. After giving Hung the samples to try, at noon on July 21, Van contacted and agreed with Hoang to buy 1,300 ecstasy pills with the logo of a crown for 150,000 VND/pill, the total price of the goods was 195 million VND. After paying in advance, Van asked Hoang to ship the goods to Hai Phong.
On the evening of July 23, Hoang contacted Van to inform her that he had sent the drugs by car to Hai Phong. According to the schedule, about 2 days later the "goods" arrived, the carrier would call Van to let her know to come and receive them. To receive this shipment, that same evening, Van and Hung bought plane tickets to Hanoi. At noon on July 25, Van, Hung and Van's eldest son rented a car to go to Hai Phong.
At 11 p.m. the same day, Van received a phone call from the bus company telling her to go to Niem Nghia bus station to receive the package shipped from Ho Chi Minh City. Van and Hung went to the bus station, received a foam box containing disguised mixed rice paper, stuffed with bags containing ecstasy pills inside, brought it back to the hotel to hide, and then contacted the consumers.
On the evening of July 27, a "dealer" named Thu asked to buy 200 ecstasy pills for 48 million VND. However, after receiving the goods, this "dealer" responded that the quality of the goods was very poor, and that they did not feel "high" after using them, so they returned the goods. Knowing that they would have difficulty selling this shipment, Van and Hung decided to return the drugs to Hoang.
On the evening of July 28, Van prepared a suitcase, arranged clothes for Hung, and hid packages of ecstasy pills in it for Hung to take to Ho Chi Minh City. At about 9:30 p.m. on July 28, at Hanoi station, when Van and Hung were carrying the suitcase to board the train to the South, they were checked and arrested by Dong Da District Police, who seized 1,271 ecstasy pills weighing over 550 grams, which were determined to be ketamine.
After being arrested, Van painfully realized the true face of her young lover. Contrary to the loving words and affectionate "husband - wife" terms, Nguyen Thanh Hung insisted that everything was Van's fault, that he "knew nothing".
However, Nguyen Thanh Hung could not explain his relationship with Hoang and the "agents" with whom he had previously traded and bought drugs. Based on the investigation documents, the Hanoi Police Department of Investigation proposed to prosecute Nguyen Thi Hong Van and Nguyen Thanh Hung for "Illegal trading of narcotics" under Clause 4, Article 194 of the 1999 Penal Code (now Clause 4, Article 251 of the 2015 Penal Code, amended in 2017).
