Vietnam will participate in international tank racing in Russia
Russian media quoted Minister Ngo Xuan Lich, who is visiting Moscow, saying that Vietnam will send a team to participate in the Tank Biathlon tournament in Russia.

According toPeople's Army, Minister Ngo Xuan Lich announced at the meeting that Vietnam will send representatives to attend the Military Technical Forum and send teams to compete in several events at the 2018 International Army Games hosted by Russia.
The Tank Biathlon is an annual competition held in Russia at the Alabino shooting range, with teams from many different countries competing. Teams usually use T-72B3 tanks provided by Russia, except for China and Belarus, which bring their own equipment to the competition.
The competition has many different contents such as racing on complex terrain, overcoming obstacles, and shooting fireworks., requiring the crew to be proficient in controlling and using the weapons equipped on the vehicle. The crew will have to fire both the 125mm main gun and the 12.7mm machine gun at predetermined targets at a distance of hundreds to thousands of meters./.
