600 people participate in dialogue on safe migration
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 5, in Quynh Luu, the Nghe An Border Guard Command, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) coordinated with the local authorities of Quynh Luu district to organize a dialogue program on safe migration and prevention of illegal migration for nearly 600 people in the two communes of Quynh Van and Quynh Nghia.
Participating in the dialogue, people were exchanged and provided with information related to the issue of labor export by the authorities. In particular, people were provided with regulations on immigration, loan policies, information on safe and legal labor export; the unfortunate consequences that happened to illegal immigrants to Australia; procedures for borrowing and conditions for debt cancellation of loans to support workers going abroad; legal procedures when marrying a foreigner; policies to support victims of trafficking abroad; measures to protect themselves from being trafficked when exporting labor...
