Coordinated bilateral patrols to protect the Vietnam - Laos border
(Baonghean.vn) - During this bilateral patrol, Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station and Lao border management and protection forces jointly patrolled the border section from marker 460 to marker 462.
On April 5, Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) and Border Guard Company 252, Nam On Police Station (Bo Ly Kham Xay province, Laos) coordinated to organize bilateral patrols of the border section that the two units are responsible for managing and protecting.

During this bilateral patrol, Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station and the border management and protection force of the neighboring country jointly patrolled the border section from landmark 460 to landmark 462. Both sides followed the correct principles, protocols and procedures in border diplomacy activities.
Senior Lieutenant Thai Dinh Ha - Armed Team Leader, in charge of patrolling the Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station, said: This is an activity to promptly detect violations of border regulations, resolve incidents occurring on the route; coordinate to protect the common border, maintain political security and social order and safety on the border.
At the end of the patrol, the two sides held a review meeting, signed a record of the results of border management and protection work in the past, proposed policies and solutions, and agreed on the time and number of troops for the next bilateral patrol.
