(Baonghean.vn) - During an inspection of a vehicle transporting timber and a search of the suspect's private residence, authorities discovered a quantity of marijuana cleverly concealed.
In the early morning of April 6th, the Anh Son District Police received a tip from the public that an individual transporting forest products was also carrying drugs in the vehicle.
Immediately afterwards, the Anh Son District Police directed a task force to coordinate with the Anh Son Forest Protection Force to stop and inspect the truck with license plate 37C-09514 driven by Nguyen Huu At (born in 1971, residing in Hamlet 14, Linh Son Commune, Anh Son District) in the Tra Lan Hamlet area, Phuc Son Commune.

At this time, following behind At's car was a pickup truck with license plate 37C - 265.84 driven by Hoang Van Dai (born in 1959, residing in Hamlet 2, Dang Son Commune, Do Luong District).
Upon inspection, the task force discovered that the truck driven by At was carrying approximately 7 cubic meters of something.3Various types of wood were found. During an administrative inspection, the task force discovered and seized 1 ecstasy pill and 2 packets of marijuana (grass-like substance) weighing approximately 10.8 grams.

The Anh Son District Police Chief ordered an urgent search of At's house and seized an additional 52.6 grams of marijuana.
Continuing the administrative inspection, the task force checked the pickup truck driven by Dai and discovered 14.53 grams of marijuana and various drug paraphernalia.
During questioning at the investigative agency, Nguyen Huu At and Hoang Van Dai confessed to purchasing the drugs from Laos for personal use.
