Caught red-handed a subject who committed 4 thefts in 1 hour at Quang Trung apartment complex

(Baonghean.vn) - Having just completed his fourth theft in nearly an hour, Binh was caught red-handed by the police. The subject confessed to having successfully committed 8 thefts with sophisticated methods.

Quang Trung Ward Police (Vinh City) said that the unit had just caught Le Huu Binh (born in 1987, residing in Tan Giang Ward, Ha Tinh City) red-handed when he had just finished committing a theft of property in a civilian's house.

Evidence seized at the scene included: 1 necklace, 1 bracelet, 2 gold rings and tools used as means of theft including: 1 car with license plate 38A - 116.46; 1 pair of pliers, 1 pair of pliers, 1 screwdriver, 2 hacksaws and 1 set of universal keys.

At the police station, Binh confessed that within 50 minutes he had successfully carried out 4 thefts of property from households in the C2 and B4 Quang Trung apartment buildings (Quang Trung ward, Vinh city).

Specifically, at around 3:00 p.m. on April 9, Binh broke the lock and broke into a house to steal 16 million VND and a laptop. In less than an hour, Binh continued to break into 3 other houses to steal many properties such as laptops, watches, gold and cash.

After completing the fourth theft in room 121 at 3:50 p.m., Binh was caught red-handed by Quang Trung Ward Police. The total amount of money and property that Binh stole in the four cases was 82 million VND.

During the extended investigation, Le Huu Binh confessed that on April 5 and April 6, also at Quang Trung apartment complex, he had successfully committed 4 other thefts with a total value of money and property of more than 50 million VND.

Binh confessed that he often hung around apartment buildings before office hours to monitor people. When he saw people locking their doors to go to work, Binh used pliers and a hacksaw to break the locks and break into the houses to steal property.

After stealing the property, Binh took it to other locations to sell to avoid detection by authorities.

Quang Trung Ward Police have handed over Binh and the evidence to Vinh City Police for handling./.
