Former Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Ngo Van Tuan as team leader
Mr. Ngo Van Tuan, former Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, was assigned as the team leader to assist the Steering Committee for Urban and Housing Development Planning and Construction.
According to Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Home Affairs Dau Thanh Tung, this is a part-time Board, headed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and a Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The Board has the function of urging and guiding sectors and districts on urban and housing development planning.

Previously, from October 2010 to November 2015, Mr. Ngo Van Tuan, in his position as Party Secretary and Director of the Department of Construction, violated the principle of democratic centralism and violated the regulations of the Party and State on organization and personnel work.

The Secretariat has decided to discipline Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Ngo Van Tuan by removing him from all positions in the Party.
On January 18, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc signed a decision to remove Mr. Ngo Van Tuan from the position of Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee (term 2016-2021).
