Nghe An closes bus station in Vinh city center, opens Bac Vinh bus station
(Baonghean.vn) - At the same time that Bac Vinh Bus Station officially started operating in the city suburbs, in the center of Vinh City, Vinh Bus Station also stopped using.
On the morning of April 11, Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to announce and open the Bac Vinh Bus Station in Hamlet 1, Nghi Kim Commune. The bus station, located near Nghi Kim overpass, was completed nearly 6 years after the groundbreaking.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Minh Thanh - General Director of Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company and Head of Bac Vinh Bus Station Project Management Board apologized to the local authorities and people for the slow construction progress. Mr. Thanh also gave many reasons and explanations for this delay.

The Bac Vinh Bus Station project has a total investment of 320 billion VND on a total area of nearly 4 hectares, divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 is currently the bus station project with an investment of nearly 100 billion VND. Phase 2 is expected to be implemented in the near future, including projects such as a commercial center, hotel, restaurant, etc.
Bac Vinh Bus Station is a class 1 bus station, considered one of the most modern bus stations in the country. At the same time, with the opening of Bac Vinh Bus Station, Vinh Bus Station on Le Loi Street, in the city center will stop operating.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that the construction of Bac Vinh Bus Station to relocate the bus station in the city center is necessary. Especially, in the context of traffic congestion in Vinh City in recent years.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that after coming into operation, the bus station will comply with all legal regulations and continuously improve the quality of passenger service.
