In addition to Van Hau and Van Kien, three other V-League players were included in the best squad: Tuan Manh (Sanna Khanh Hoa), Hung Dung and striker Oseni (Hanoi). The reason why four Hanoi players were included in the best squad was thanks to the team's impressive 5-0 victory over Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
Specifically, Van Hau was described as the player who played an important role in the match against HAGL. Van Hau's 'Bale-like' free kick helped Oseni score the second important goal of the tournament. As for Tran Van Kien, this defender was assessed to have the speed and accuracy needed to stop any attacks on the right wing, especially locking down Rimario.
In addition, Hung Dung is considered to be a good partner with Moses to 'suffocate' the HAGL midfield, while Oseni is a true goalscorer. Meanwhile, Nguyen Tuan Manh made a strong impression with his ability in Sanna Khanh Hoa's goal.
