According to the initial investigation, on the afternoon of April 1, Duy brought a weapon and went with Ngoc Seo in a pickup truck to Dong A Security Company to "deal with" Tran Quoc Tuan, because he and director Tran Huy Thong had previously driven an ambulance (private) to assist a traffic accident victim and had gotten into a scuffle with Ngoc's father-in-law.
When asked to get in the car to apologize to his father-in-law, Ngoc and his men attacked him with weapons.
