On April 15, Quang Binh border guards said they had handed over three Lao people, along with evidence of 24,000 synthetic drug pills, two motorbikes, many cell phones... to Laos for investigation.

Over the past month, Quang Binh border guards have been sending undercover agents to the Vietnam-Laos border after hearing about a transnational drug ring. At 3 p.m. on April 11, at km71 of National Highway 12A in Khammouane Province (Laos), authorities spotted three suspicious individuals riding two motorbikes toward Vietnam.

When they stopped them, the authorities seized many yellow packages containing many small blue plastic bags, each containing 200 synthetic drug pills. In total, there were 24,000 synthetic drug pills bearing the letters WY.

These three people are between 30 and 37 years old, residing in Khammouane and Bulykhamxay provinces, Laos.
