District Vice Chairman “slapped” employee who sent complaint to higher authority

Mr. Le Thanh Tan - Vice Chairman of Duc Pho District People's Committee, Quang Ngai Province has just sent a complaint to the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, disagreeing with the conclusion and disciplinary action of the Duc Pho District Party Committee's Standing Committee against him. The Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee is investigating this incident.

Previously, the Standing Committee of Duc Pho District Party Committee met and agreed to impose a disciplinary warning and propose to remove from office and transfer to another job Mr. Le Thanh Tan - District Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Duc Pho District People's Committee.

According to the Standing Committee of Duc Pho District Party Committee, Mr. Tan committed violations, which are manifestations of ideological, political, moral and lifestyle degradation. Specifically, during his work, Mr. Tan committed many violations such as: beating workers while working at the agency; using insulting words to the honor of officials and civil servants under his authority; giving orders, being authoritarian, and behaving in an unstandard manner towards subordinate officials...

Mr. Vo Thai Nguyen, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, said that he had received Mr. Le Thanh Tan's complaint and established an Inspection Team to verify the contents of Mr. Le Thanh Tan's complaint.

“As planned, on Wednesday morning (April 18), we invited comrade Le Thanh Tan to work with the delegation to directly resolve the complaint. On that basis, we finalized the content, went to verify, and resolved the issues that comrade Tan complained about. After having the official results, we will provide information to the press to inform the public clearly,” said Mr. Thai Nguyen./.
