Ky Son Commune (Tan Ky) receives Certificate of recognition for meeting New Rural standards

Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction with a low starting point and weak infrastructure, Ky Son commune has effectively mobilized investment resources to successfully implement items according to New Rural criteria.

Over the past 6 years, the commune has mobilized over 304 billion VND to implement the criteria, of which people directly contributed over 30 billion VND to build rural traffic, cultural institutions and invested nearly 183 billion VND to repair, upgrade, and renovate houses...; thanks to thatThe commune's infrastructure system is increasingly improved.

Ky Son has become a bright spot in Tan Ky district in building diverse production models, creating jobs and increasing income for people; average income reached over 30 million VND/person/year in 2017; the rate of well-off and rich households increased and the poor households remained at 3.68%, the people's lives and social security were taken care of.

Recognizing the achieved results, Ky Son commune was recognized by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee as meeting New Rural standards in 2017.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Hang - Deputy Chief of the Provincial Standing Office of New Rural Areas praised the achievements of Ky Son commune. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the commune would continue to promote the achievements, mobilize people's strength, continue to complete the new rural criteria; pay attention and have solutions to create more jobs, increase income, and improve people's lives.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals and the Tan Ky District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to join hands in building new rural areas of Ky Son commune.
