Tan Ky: Car wash to raise funds to help poor students overcome difficulties
(Baonghean.vn) - In recent months, in front of the gate of the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center (VET) of Tan Ky district, a car wash using snow foam has appeared, raising funds for poor students to overcome difficulties.
Ms. Dau Thi Ha - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center - the initiator of the car wash fundraising event said: "Every Saturday and Sunday, the members gather at the center to wash cars to raise funds for poor students who overcome difficulties and study well. This activity has been implemented for more than 2 months now."

"After two months of implementation, the group earned 3 million VND. At the end of the month, we will buy clothes and books to give to poor students who are overcoming difficulties," Ms. Ha shared.

The volunteer work of the center’s youth union members has been supported and responded by the people. Although the amount of money raised is not much, it has partly warmed the hearts of poor students who have overcome difficulties, helping them to be more confident in their studies./.
