(Baonghean.vn) - The Youth Delegation of Nghe An province organized a meeting, exchange and share experiences in Youth Union activities with the Youth Union of Hua Phan Province, Laos from April 24 to 26.

Attending the meeting on the side of Hua Phan Provincial Youth Union were comrade Khon Pa Phan Luong Si Chan Thong - Provincial Party Committee member, Provincial Youth Union Secretary; comrade Seng Phet Phim Ma Ni - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; comrade Lon Kham Su Kha Vong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, and comrades representing departments and offices of the Provincial Youth Union.
This is an activity taking place on the occasion of the traditional New Year of Laos. On behalf of the delegation, comrade Chu Duc Thai expressed his joy at the warm welcome of the Hua Phan Provincial Youth Union, wished a happy New Year and presented gifts to the Hua Phan Provincial Youth Union. He emphasized that "this meeting and exchange contributes to strengthening the special solidarity and friendship between the Party, people and youth of the two provinces of Nghe An - Vietnam and Hua Phan - Laos, affirming the role and responsibility of the youth in determining to build the special traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos. Especially the friendship between the two provinces of Nghe An and Hua Phan.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Lon Kham Su Kha Vong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union of Hua Phan province said that the Youth Union highly values the friendship and cooperation between the youth and young people of Vietnam and Laos, especially the youth of the two provinces. Over the years, the youth of the two countries and provinces have organized many friendly exchange and cooperation activities in many fields with rich contents such as: exchanging and learning experiences in Youth Union work; border youth exchange; coordinating staff training; organizing volunteer activities for the community; building a Vietnam - Laos border youth friendship village...
Hopefully, in the coming time, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union will have many programs to coordinate with Hua Phan Provincial Youth Union such as increasing volunteer student activities, teaching Vietnamese, supporting Hua Phan province youth in livestock and crop farming techniques, economic development, and startups...

The Youth Unions of the two provinces continued to exchange and discuss issues in the work of the Youth Union so that in the coming time, there will be more and more in-depth cooperation programs with meaningful and practical work. At the program, the Youth Unions of the two provinces presented souvenirs and signed a cooperation program between the youth of the two provinces for the period 2018 - 2021.
On the same day, the delegation visited and paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Hua Phan province - Laos. Within the framework of the program, the Youth Union of Nghe An province laid flowers at the Memorial of President Kaysone Phomvihane, some historical sites in Hua Phan province, and played football with Hua Phan provincial Youth Union officials. During two days (April 25-26), the delegation continued to visit and work with the Xieng Khouang provincial Youth Union - Laos.
