US tests Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile
The US Air Force has tested a Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile, the military agency's press service said.

This is the first time the US has launched such a missile in 2018. Previously, the most recent missile launch took place in August 2017. Initially, the test was scheduled for February, but was delayed.
The missile was not equipped with a warhead. The launch was conducted successfully from Vandenberg Air Force Base in southern California. The missile's head hit the target./.
