Caught a Lao passenger bus transporting more than 400kg of chicken feet and cartilage of unknown origin
(Baonghean.vn) - The Environmental Police Department (Nghe An Police) has just discovered and seized more than 400kg of chicken feet and cartilage of unknown origin being transported for consumption.

At around 1:00 p.m. on April 28, Team 4, Environmental Police Department (Nghe An Police) coordinated with the Traffic Police Team of Hung Nguyen District Police to inspect a passenger car with a Lao license plate traveling on National Highway 1A, through Hung Tan Commune (Hung Nguyen District).
Upon inspection, it was discovered that in the trunk of the car there were 14 foam boxes containing animal products, including 124 kg of chicken feet and 291 chicken cartilages wrapped in plastic bags, with a total weight of 415 kg.

The car owner, Mr. Le Hong Toan (born in 1982), residing in Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district, said that the above chicken feet and cartilage were transported for hire from the southern provinces to Hanoi to deliver to customers.
The case is currently being handled by the authorities in accordance with the provisions of law.
