Toll station staff surrounded and arrested a suspect who stole 3 billion VND.
Discovering a group of strangers breaking in, the security team at Cho Dem Toll Station captured one of them and took back the sack of money.
On May 2, Binh Chanh District Police (HCMC) took statements from a suspected thief who is being closely monitored at the hospital. He had to be treated for injuries after fighting back against security forces.
Previously, in the early morning of April 30, Mr. Nhi (28 years old), an employee of Cho Dem Toll Station (Tan Tuc town) discovered a group of strangers breaking into the accounting room, which was recorded by a security camera.

Upon receiving the news, the security team on duty at the toll lane ran in to check and chased three young men carrying small sacks who were running over the fence.
One person was pulled back by the security team and fought back fiercely. After a fierce struggle, he was injured in many places.
Police also found a white sack dropped by the thieves, containing nearly 3 billion VND. The accounting office door and the safe were broken.
