'Salt warehouse' in Nghe An increases productivity
(Baonghean.vn) - Salt farmers in Quynh Luu salt field (Nghe An) have applied tarpaulin technology in salt production, so the output is increasingly improved. In April 2018 alone, the whole district produced more than 4,000 tons of salt, generating billions of VND in revenue.

In particular, since applying science and technology in production, the salt produced is white, beautiful and of high quality, and the price of salt is higher. With more than 600 hectares of salt production area, in 2017, the salt output of Quynh Luu district reached nearly 50,000 tons. In 2018, Quynh Luu district is expected to produce over 55,000 tons of salt. Currently, there are 4 factories processing refined salt and iodized salt.
