Tips to restore skin after swimming

Egg whites or rice water have a remarkable effect in moisturizing and lightening sunburned skin.

Egg whites

Beat the whites of 2-3 eggs and apply them to damp skin. Let them dry naturally, then peel them off and rinse with clean water. The enzymes in egg whites help repair sun damage to the skin and also soothe the pain caused by sunburn.

Olive oil

Add about 3 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil (labeled Extra Virgin) to your bath and soak for 15 minutes. Olive oil is moisturizing, reduces dryness and flaking of the skin, and helps improve skin tone.

Rice water

Take rice water and mix it with a little warm water, then apply it all over your body after bathing. Rice water helps whiten skin and restore sunburned skin effectively.

Honey

Mix honey with lemon juice in a 2:1 ratio and apply to the skin, leave for about 30 minutes then rinse with clean water. Honey is rich in nutrients, helps clean, anti-inflammatory, remove dead cells, promote the growth of new skin cells.

Cucumber

Mash 2 cucumbers and add a little milk to form a thick mixture. Apply on the skin for about 30 minutes then rinse with water. Cucumber soothes the skin while milk moisturizes and whitens the skin effectively.

Yogurt

Apply plain yogurt to your skin, let it dry naturally, then rinse with cold water. Yogurt contains zinc and lactic acid, which are very helpful in treating sun-damaged skin.
