The blue shirt team had a funny incident before lifting the Cup at home at Etihad Stadium.
Man City had enough points to win the championship since mid-April but had to wait until the penultimate round at Etihad Stadium last weekend (May 5) to lift the Cup. Before the important moment, the blue-shirted players were excitedly dancing and cheering next to the Cup podium, when a player accidentally knocked the Cup down on the grass. The Sun said that the incident happened when Man City players were surrounding Yaya Toure, who will leave this summer after 8 years with the club. |
