A young mother in Thanh Chuong gave birth to triplets.
(Baonghean.vn) - After many days of anticipation, on the morning of May 8th, at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, a young couple from Thanh Chuong (Nghe An) were overjoyed to welcome three new members to their family at once.
This is a joyous occasion for the family of Mr. Dinh Van Nam (25 years old) and Ms. Bui Thi Thu Thao (25 years old) in Hamlet 3, Thanh Duong Commune, Thanh Chuong District.
Mr. Nam and Ms. Thao got married in 2017. When Ms. Thao was two months pregnant, they discovered she was expecting triplets. According to Mr. Nam, the past few months have been a time of both joy and worry for the whole family. Joy because his wife is pregnant with triplets, worry because it's their first child and they lack experience, and most of all, worry about the childbirth itself.

Therefore, as soon as Ms. Thao showed signs of going into labor, her family took her to Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital. After a week of waiting, on the morning of May 8th, Ms. Thao went into labor and gave birth to three baby girls weighing 1.5 kg, 1.6 kg, and 1.7 kg.
The babies are currently being cared for in a special ward. Ms. Thao's health is gradually recovering after giving birth to triplets.

Sharing his joy at becoming a father, Mr. Dinh Van Nam said: "I am very happy that my wife gave birth safely and both mother and child are healthy. Thank you for the care and help from the medical team and my friends." Mr. Nam also wrote on his personal page: "So, our three beloved daughters have been born," and received many congratulations and well wishes.
It is known that Mr. Nam works at the Forestry Planning Survey Team – Department of Agriculture, while Ms. Thao works as an accountant for a company in her hometown. Neither side of the family has ever had twins or triplets.
