National Assembly delegation conducts survey in Quynh Luu
(Baonghean.vn)- During the working program with Nghe An province on the results of 10 years of implementing Resolution 7 of the 10th Central Committee (10th tenure) on agriculture, farmers and rural areas, on the afternoon of May 10, the National Assembly delegation made a survey trip to Quynh Luu district.
The delegation was led by comrade Nguyen Minh Son - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Economic Committee, member of the Central Steering Committee summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution 7 of the Central Committee (10th tenure) on agriculture, farmers and rural areas.
Working with the delegation were comrades Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In Quynh Doi commune, after visiting the historical relic complex including the mausoleum of revolutionary Ho Tung Mau, martyr Cu Chinh Lan, the tombstone of Ho Phi Tich and the memorial stele of female poet Ho Xuan Huong, the working group inspected the construction of the new rural area. Since the end of 2014, Quynh Doi has completed 19/19 criteria and was selected by the Provincial People's Committee to build a model new rural commune in the period 2015 - 2020.
After 2 years of implementing the Provincial People's Committee's Decision on building a model new-style rural commune, the commune has mobilized nearly 100 billion VND, completed the construction of traffic routes, educational and cultural facilities, upgraded and embellished historical and cultural relics, and village gates; the average income per capita of the whole commune in 2017 reached 45 million VND, the poverty rate was 1.1%. |

The delegation also visited and surveyed the model of growing various vegetables in Quynh Luong commune. The whole commune currently has 215 hectares of vegetable growing, of which 10 hectares of Phu Luong Cooperative have been recognized for production according to VietGAP process.
The report of the Commune People's Committee shows that 1 hectare of VietGAP vegetables brings in an income of over 300 million VND/year. Currently, Quynh Luong is advocating implementing solutions to expand the area of VietGAP vegetables in the whole commune.
Also in Quynh Luong commune, the National Assembly delegation visited the Spirulina cultivation project of Hidumi Pharma Green Science Joint Stock Company, the first enterprise in Nghe An province to apply scientific and technical advances and standard processes, producing and processing 3 product lines: Spirulina, fermented soybeans and Cordyceps in supporting and treating diseases.
On behalf of the working delegation, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Economic Committee Nguyen Minh Son highly appreciated the results that Quynh Luu district has achieved.
On May 11, the delegation will have a working session with the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the implementation results of Resolution 7 of the 10th Central Committee on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas in Nghe An province.
