Honoring 6 outstanding student startup ideas and projects
(Baonghean.vn) - The final night of the contest "Creative ideas for student startups in 2018" was organized by the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Vinh University on the evening of May 11.
The contest “Startup Ideas and Creativity 2018” of Vinh University aims to search, promote, support start-up activities and honor outstanding start-up creative ideas among union members, youth and students.

10 teams out of 23 teams participating in this year's competition with the best startup ideas and projects were selected for the final round. The startup projects focus on business areas: handmade products, environmentally friendly livestock farming models, agricultural product trading, event organization, communications, children's playgrounds, tourism combined with livestock farming...
The projects and startup ideas participating in the contest are evaluated as creative, innovative and highly feasible; helping students demonstrate their abilities, become more confident in life and at the same time gain additional knowledge about starting a production and business.

This is an opportunity for students to exchange, learn, share knowledge and experience in starting a business, apply theory to practice; seek opportunities to cooperate with many organizations and businesses to implement ideas and start-up projects into practice. The competition contributes to supporting students to start a business effectively right from when they are still in school.

At the end of the competition, the project "TeamX- Event Teambulding" by author Tran Trung Thong (Faculty of Construction) won the first prize. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes to authors and groups of authors with excellent startup ideas and projects.

Speaking at the contest, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang - Member of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of Vinh University affirmed: "In recent times, thanks to the attention of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Vinh University, the startup movement among students has developed strongly; contributing to promoting creativity, dynamism and gradually forming a sense of independence, creating jobs for themselves and their friends of the school's students.
Projects discovered and honored at the "Startup Ideas and Creativity 2018" contest will be supported by the school to complete and participate in provincial and regional competitions; creating a premise to promote start-up activities in the school in the coming time."
