(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 16, a heavy rain accompanied by a local tornado occurred in Tho Son commune, Anh Son district (Nghe An), causing many trees to fall and many houses to be damaged.

According to initial statistics, many trees were broken and many houses had their roofs blown off; including the houses of Mr. Nguyen Van Son and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dong in village 2, whose roofs were severely blown off; the dormitory building of Tho Son Secondary School was also severely damaged.

After the incident, the local government of Tho Son commune mobilized forces, organizations and people to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize life.
