Russia opens proceedings against journalist who called for blowing up Crimea bridge
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (SK) has opened a criminal case against American journalist Tom Rogan, who "suggested" that Ukraine blow up the Crimean bridge, according to SK spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko.

"Initiating a criminal case against US citizen Tom Rogan, who published an article titled 'Ukraine should blow up Putin's Crimean bridge', calling for the destruction of the Crimean bridge by planting bombs," she said.
According to investigators, the article "has signs of calling for terrorist activities on the territory of the Russian Federation, violating Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation".
On Tuesday, the Washington Examiner magazine published a column written by staff commentator Tom Rogan, saying that Ukraine "must blow up the Crimean bridge."
